In aid of Migrant Artist Mutual Aid and UAREUK
PROCEEDS GO TO
Migrant Artists Mutual Aid_ a network of people who come together to produce community cultural events that aim to promote cohesion and intercultural understanding while raising money for migrants in crisis. Mutual Aid is not charity, it is a safety net that is based on shared values of justice and equality, it is a safety net that is recession proof, that affirms that even in the toughest times we can stand together to help ourselves.
UAREUK_ a humanitarian movement dedicated to helping refugees coming ashore in Greece and onwards into Europe. We are now called ‘United to Assist Refugees UK’, we started off as the Wrexham, Chester and Merseyside Refugee Donations Coordination Group. We have sent donations to Lesvos, Samos, Tilos & Chios islands, we have sent half a tonne of aid through Hungary and to Macedonia. We have visited and helped at camps in Macedonia and Slovenia.
