Karen Timms
Hailing from the deepest darkest depths of West Yorkshire, Karen Timms first moved to Liverpool in 1997 to study at the University of Liverpool.
It was here that she met her fellow members of infamous punk band Flamingo 50. With Karen bashing away on bass, the trio staked their claim in world domination by rocking around the UK and France with the likes of Le Tigre and Nerf Herder, and playing festivals including Ladyfest, Widstock, Munkyfest and Punk Aid.
After a four year stint with the '50 and several near death experiences, Karen joined the psychedelic Victorian pop noir band Lovecraft, who she currently performs and drinks tea with on a regular basis.
Karen's fascination with music was explored from an early age, learning to read musical notation as soon as she could read the English language. Expanding on those trusty adolescent recorder and clarinet lessons, her musical tastes now include thrash metal from the San Francisco Bay area of the late 1980s, the post Riot Grrrl music of the late 90s and noughties, Claude Debussy, Steve Reich, Björk and the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band.
Rory Ballantyne
Rory has been involved with local music since moving to Liverpool in 2008 to study at Liverpool Hope University, who now currently works and produces music out of his on studio.

George Maund
George began in Programme Support for the show, acting as cover when the team needed a 5th fiddle, and has since moved into presenting as of September '19. Having studied Music & Popular Music at the University of Liverpool, he followed this academic tenure with stints in Merseyside groups such as Indica Ritual, Stig Noise Sound System, Ex-Easter Island Head, and a.P.A.t.T., whilst also producing solo work under various guises. Taking a break from performance to focus on hosting experimental electronic artists & DJs from the world over, George founded egalitarian club night 'Cartier 4 Everyone' in Summer 2016, roving through Liverpool venues with a focus on facilitating the cutting-edge of music made by the club scene's leading lights.
Andrew PM Hunt
Andrew has been heavily involved in the local music scene for the past 10 years and active on the international music scene with his bands Outfit and his solo project Dialect, releasing several acclaimed albums over the few years and performing across the world. Originally studying music at Liverpool University, he came to the show as a huge music fan and continues to enjoy discovering deep out-there sounds alongside the rest of the team. Andrew also runs the experimental label Dunes, organizing limited edition releases and events. Andrew presents 'The Trawl' segment of the programme – a deep dive down the rabbit-hole of multiple internet browser tabs – in tandem with uber-producer and PMS helmer Roger Hill.
