Mary Hughes, the chair, is simply overwhelmed and needs support in order to employ staff to manage the organisation and keep it running.
Situated in the heart of the Toxteth Community Liverpool 8, 'The New Belve' has been providing activities for over 100 years. Toxteth is the UK’s poorest ward.
Its Victorian building was fully refurbished and updated in 2006. It offers fully accessible facilities at corporate and community hire rates and it always strive to offer subsidised and even free facilities for children.
The New Belve is an oasis in a sea of deprivation.
