Gill Landry – Philharmonic Music Room – 8pm
Award-winning Old Crow Medicine Show contributing singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and First Aid Kit collaborator performs in an intimate setting.
 
Wednesday
Junior Brother – Studio2 Parr Street – 7pm
Confessional, good-natured new acoustic music from Ireland.
 
Thursday 20th
Get Into This Social – District – 7pm
The Getintothis Social Launch Party at District featuring Motel Sundown and Douglas Savage. John Witherspoon, our resident host will perform jams and originals as Coffee Shop John & The Silver Spoons - his revolving band. There will also be spoken word from Cath Holland - and more to be revealed. Also happening on the night will be PG's Tremendous Quiz plus DJs. This is a free event so do get involved.
 
Dan Disgrace, Lotte, Nikki Kand, Maren – Zanzibar – 7:30pm
Sumati presents  some of the undisputed best of Liverpool, including smart-dressed serenader Dan D.
 
Ensemble 10/10 – St. George’s Hall Concert Room – 7:30pm
Contemporary chamber music concerned with the plight of nature and the environment, featuring new work by Duncan Ward (he himself conducting), Samantha Fernando and Brett Dean, alongside a more senior serialist composition by Anton Webern.
 
Friday 21st
Dry Cleaning – Shipping Forecast – 7:30pm
Long-time friends and seasoned jobbing musicians formed this group in South London, mixing spoken word (performed by lecturer, artist and researcher Florence Shaw, who fronts the group) and spikey lo-fi post-punk that nods at Americana and angular guitar work.
